ACADEMIC YEAR IN SPAIN

MADRID, VALENCIA, SALAMANCA... AND MUCH MORE

Madrid is a city with a special charm that captures at first glance: it is a perfect destination for those who love culture and art, thanks to the large number of museums, but it is also rich in green spaces and good food. In fact, in the Spanish capital you will find, some of the most interesting tourist attractions in the world: Prado Museum, Royal Palace, Gran Via, Retiro Park are just some of the cult places of this wonderful city.

Living in Madrid means diving into a cosmopolitan, vibrant and dynamic city that will definitely make you feel like a citizen of the world.

Spain is always surprising, and Valencia, a city kissed by an ideal climate , is a perfect mix of the Catalan and Andalusian sides of the Spanish soul, between futuristic structures and the ciutat vella.

It offers a truly super-rich and stimulating cultural landscape to take on an education and get in touch with local traditions and life.

Cadiz is a wonderful Andalusian treasure, an enchanting coastal city perched on a promontory over the Atlantic Ocean that boasts an important port, many museums, monuments, and a charming old town wrapped by the sea.

Not too large, mostly flat, Cadiz is easy and pleasant to traverse. Noble palaces, squares, small stores, and many gathering places characterize this city with which it is easy to fall in love in a very short time.

Capital of Culture in 2002 and declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1985, Salamanca is a historic and evocative city belonging to the Autonomous Community of Castilla y Leon.

The city is home to the oldest Spanish university still in existence, the University of Salamanca, which, along with those of Oxford, Cambridge, Paris and Bologna is one of the oldest in all of Europe. Salamanca even today feels like a city created for students.

Alicante is part of the Valencia region and is located in southeastern Spain, in the middle of a bay with a spectacular hill behind it.

Its central location in the Mediterranean has always made it a very important port that over the centuries has seen the Phoenicians, Carthaginians, Greeks, and Romans come and go. Each people has left its mark on the city.

Lovely climate, excellent cuisine, a city center teeming with life, Alicante is referred to by countless tabloids as one of the best cities in the world in which to live. The beautiful beaches, characterized by fine sand and azure blue waters, are one of the main attractions of the city, considered the true heart of the Costa Blanca.

Segovia is one of those Spanish cities that leaves no one indifferent. It is a city full of history, which has managed to perfectly preserve its quasi-medieval environment, without giving up being a modern city.

It is a city that can be walked around, its symbol being its magnificent Roman aqueduct, an architectural marvel that dates back to the first century B.C.

Segovia is less than an hour from Madrid by car, and connections to the capital by both train and bus are really efficient.
